Common Sense

One must have a clean, well-functioning subconscious to begin with if activating 'special abilities' with various esoteric tools.  In many cases, even a small amount of damage to the subconscious can become a full-blown distortion when activating such abilities.  The examples of spiritual leaders who became abusive in this post all had too many issues with their subconscious to begin with, which caused their downfall. 

Damage to the subconscious is most easily picked up during childhood, but can also occur when older.  Often, esoteric tools do not heal this damage, but instead amplify it.  The damage is like a dark seed or set of dark seeds, and esoteric tools can cause this seed or set of dark seeds to grow into a monstrosity in the truest sense.  A beast with superpowers is still a beast.

There's also the problem of subconscious damage from past lives.  Cobra stated that the lords of karma are no more, but this doesn't necessarily mean that subconscious damage from past lives has been healed.

There's also the problem of skipping levels.  Yes, of course we all could fly before the dark forces invaded, but we must to re-learn how to fly, and to do this, we must first re-learn how to crawl, then walk, and then run before flying.  Trying to fly before one can even (in some cases) crawl results in disaster.  

Sometimes what someone really needs is not something fancy like cintamani stones, or tarot cards, or orgonite (I'm also including tools people use outside of 2012 Portal as examples), or (fill in the blank).  Sometimes what someone really needs is to learn common sense.  Cobra's attitude seems to be, "You should all already know common sense."  Yet, most were never taught common sense (or, not-so-common sense).  

Average parents do not teach their children common sense very well, nor do schools and other institutions.  At best, the majority of the surface population only knows bits and pieces of common sense.  The book I mentioned in my previous post actually teaches common sense in its entirety, or is at least the most complete teaching of common sense available to my knowledge.  

A very healthy subconscious and a vast understanding/overstanding of common sense are the prerequisites for being a powerfully positive non-abusive occultist.  It's also the prerequisite for being a powerful and non-compromised lightworker.  

The lurker hasn't been cleared from the subconscious of the surface population and lightworkers, so that's a considerable minus.  Yet, at least there's the ability to learn common sense, which could be a doorway into healing the subconscious.  Or, at least there is the potential to control the bull.  It doesn't have to be like this:
