Get Out of the Mental Prisons
The animal kingdom has it rough. There's the constant struggle to survive. Yet, the animal kingdom is not imprisoned to thought. An animal doesn't get sad about planetary affairs and how pathetic the (societal) world is. An animal doesn't fantasize about suicide.
When an animal gets into a conflict, it doesn't later hold a grudge. When the conflict is over, the animal moves on.
The plant kingdom is the same. Plants don't preoccupy themselves with all the nonsense that humans are preoccupied with. Plants are simply present. They are not trapped in their heads. Only humans get trapped in their heads.
The animal and plant kingdoms are great teachers to get
outside mental prisons. When the mind becomes a prison, with 100% of
thinking becoming 100% negative, the only solution beyond suicide is to
go beyond all mental constructs. When all thoughts are negative, all thoughts can be rejected. When a computer starts glitching and going haywire, the computer needs to be reset. The human mind operates in the same way.
There are many ways a human can break free from mental prisons and/or do a reset. One can focus on their physical body, and physical body movements if moving. One can focus on objects. One can focus on the space between objects. One can focus on grounding within the Earth. One can watch a sunrise or sunset. One can do certain meditations. As long as the focus is outside mental prisons, a human can know peace, and experience positive and enigmatic feelings beyond categorization.
Regarding excessive desire, which is also a mental prison, this can help:
One's true home is outside all mental noise.
Perhaps
the foundation for being an occultist (the kind of occultist that
doesn't do human sacrifices and so forth) is to be skilled at being
outside mental prisons. Yet, although occultism can liberate one from mental prisons, occultism can also trap one in mental prisons even further through
negative dreamstate/astral experiences. Although occultism is worth
exploring, one needs to
be careful, and not become obsessed with negative paranormal experiences
that may be encountered.
What about artistic expression, logic, and the sciences? These are aspects of the mind that, under certain conditions, can be liberating. As with occultism though, these aspects are 'double edged swords.'
