Vadim Zeland's "Reality Transurfing" Notes and Summaries, Chapter 6

Alternative space is a template for what could happen.  When a sector is lit up with energy, it becomes physical.  The subconscious mind accesses it, and the conscious mind makes it real.  Science and genius inventions, along with artistic inspiration, come from “aha” moments when the alternative space is accessed.  Unexplained phenomena also originate from information fields of the alternative space.

Mistakes with intuition are for two reasons:  First, a sector of the alternative space is accessed that can never be.  Second, confusion can occur from confused signals.

Transurfing is just a model that allows us to apply the laws of the universe to serve our own interests.  It does not claim to provide a comprehensive description of the structure of the universe.  Neither is Transurfing a monument bearing the inscription, “Here lies the secret!”  Truth is only ever somewhere close by.  The conventional worldview is as impossible to prove as is the Transurfing model.  Whether what happens is from one system or the other, this does not concern us.  The fact remains that information from the alternative space is available, and we must attempt to understand their meanings.

The mind has too much emphasis on thinking, and often only receives faint signals from the heart.  The mind wants to do things its own way.  If something cannot be designated by the mind, it is unknown.  The heart, unlike the mind, does not use designations.  The heart feels and knows, not using words and symbols, so the mind finds the heart difficult to understand.  Signals from the heart come through as an “inner voice.”  When the mind is distracted, messages from the heart can come through.

Music from the heart is the voice without words, reflection without thought, sound without volume.  When you hear this music, you know you have understood something, but it still has an elusive quality.  Do not think so much.  Feel and listen to your intuition.  If you silence your mind and listen, you will hear the “rustling of the morning stars,” or the inner voice that has no words.  This is not done all at once.  This is expanded over time.

The heart has two states - comfort and discomfort.  The heart is rarely mistaken because it does not think.  It feels.  The task is to interpret the heart to make decisions.  People feel more inclined to use reason instead of feelings, and so have forgotten how to pay attention to their own inner condition, and the feeling of integrity that inner peace gives.

When someone gives up responsibility for their fate, they defer to a higher power or for someone else to help them.  It’s an inflated sense of self importance to believe that higher powers would come down and help one’s personal needs.  We already have the gift of personal choice.  If you want something, don’t plead for it.  Don’t demand it.  Just go out and get it.  However, don’t take this too far.  Don’t declare war on pendulums.  Don’t have life become a continuous struggle for survival.

Passive acceptance and overt dissatisfaction cause a person to become dependent on pendulums.

The fighter in life loses great amounts of energy.  The fighter may win, but at what cost?

Beliefs based on self-importance are used by pendulums to control people.  Abandon inner and outer importance to break free from pendulums to obtain what you want.  How to go about getting what you want is the focus of the rest of this book.

Being needy, indignant, or a fighter - none of these mentalities work.  If it’s not advisable to be a fighter, and going with the flow is too limp, what other options are there?  Go in the direction with the stream, but steer to avoid whirlpools rocks, and rapids.  Proceed with a sense of caution, correcting one’s movements with smooth actions.  Also, have an idea of where the flow is going.  Take paths on the flow in desired directions.

Inner and outer importance causes one to go on rapids and whirlpools along one’s path.  When reducing the intensity of projected importance, the flow returns to a calmer current.

Solutions to all problems is within the alternative space.  Minor problems resolve themselves if the energy is allowed to run its course.  The mind gets caught up in a maze to find complex solutions to simple problems, which is ineffective.  The mind does this because problems are perceived as obstacles.  Find the easiest and simplest solutions to problems - the path of least resistance.

Once you feel you’re in a condition of harmony and balance, go with the flow.  Let go of the situation.  Be an objective observer rather than a participant.  Perform actions simply, being neither slave nor master.  Be an administrator from the outside.  Yield to simplicity.

When faced with a task, ask, “What is the simplest way to do this?”

Omens are often fulfilled because people give them their thought-energy.  Not believing in omens at all and not paying any attention to them completely blocks them from manifesting them in their lifelines.  You experience what you allow into your personal life script.

If there is something unusual that comes into your experience, this is a sign of a lifeline shift.  Often the shifts are gradual, going through multiple lifelines before completely shifting.  These signs indicate that a shift has occurred, or is occurring.  Take head of signs, as they can be warnings.

If one associates a sign with an unpleasant feeling, or if it fills one with misgivings, unpleasant surprise, or anxiety, it means the sign signals a negative turn of events.  If the sign is ambiguous, there’s no point in trying to interpret it, as the interpretation will be unreliable.  Neither negate the sign nor worry too much.

Decide whether the sign’s meaning is positive or negative.  Example:  You could constantly experience many physical obstacles in your daily path.  These physical obstacles may indicate that maybe you have chosen a dead end road in life, and need to take a different path.  Or, that you are under the influence of a destructive pendulum.

People often make fatal mistakes without even being aware of their actions when under the influence of destructive pendulums, in a zombified anesthesia.

Take care and be cautious without worrying.

When someone tries to force their opinion on you, it’s better to not pay attention.  However, a spontaneous phrase as a recommendation might be worth taking seriously.  A spontaneous response that is not thought-out can be something that you know on a deeper level of consciousness.

If you have to make a difficult decision, go past the mind and listen to the intuition.  Feelings operate on a more intelligent level than the analytical mind.  It’s not difficult to know how you feel, but it is difficult to listen to your heart, because the mind tends to try be very dominant.  The loud drumming of ‘common sense’ often drowns out the whispering of the heart.

The mind often pretends not to hear the voice of the soul.  The mind will say “yes” when the soul says “no.”  The mind is a valuable tool, but operates in a more healthy way when having more interaction with the intuition.

If you have to talk yourself into saying “yes,” your soul is really saying “no.”  When your soul says “yes,” you don’t have to talk yourself around it.

Desires from the mind are from pendulums.  When not listening to your gut, nothing bad may happen.  But other times, you will deeply regret it.

It is better to avoid desires that evoke feelings of guilt, doubt, or apprehension.  If you can get in the habit of doing this, it will greatly simplify your life.

Don’t go ‘over the top’ and look for signs happening everywhere.  Don’t assign excess importance to signs that are not clear.  It’s not up to us to understand their full meaning.  The only sign worth focusing on when making a decision is your gut feeling and intuition.  It really is worth listening to the rustling of the morning stars.

Streams in the alternative flow can free the mind of two burdens:  The need to solve problems rationally, and the need to control.  If the mind allows itself to be freed, the mind will require a more or less rational explanation to be comfortable enough to let go.  Much of what is in this book is irrational, but conclusions can be drawn that are difficult for the mind to accept, but are nonetheless real.  Providing an explanation the mind can accept is essential because the mind will not take anything on faith, and it is extremely difficult to shake the monolith of ‘common sense.’  The mind demands proof, which can be found by putting the principles of Transurfing into practice.

As children, we are constantly being reprimanded:  “Think with your head!”  “Do you realize what you are doing?”  “Explain yourself!”  “Do your homework!”  “You won’t get anywhere in life without a brain!”  “Don’t be so stupid!”  “Will you ever learn?”  Teachers and circumstances sculpt a soldier from our minds, ready at any moment to produce an explanation, give an answer to a question, assess a situation, make a decision, and control those around us.  The mind is trained to only utilize ‘common sense.’

It’s not suggested to get rid of common sense altogether.  Not at all.  Common sense provides us with a minimal set of rules to survive.  The mistake of the mind though is to follow the code too literally.  An obsession with common sense prevents the mind from opening up, looking around, and noticing all the scenarios that do not ‘fit the rules.’  There are many things in the world that are inconsistent with common sense.  The rational mind is incapable of explaining all the phenomena we witness in the world.  The rational mind is also not very good at protecting a person from experiencing problems and disappointment.

Relying on the streams from the alternatives flow can compensate for the limitations of the mind.  There is purposefulness in the alternatives flow, which is what the mind seeks.  As said before, the streams take the path of least resistance.

Nature is in essence perfect, and so the streams of the alternatives flow have more purposefulness and logic than the wisest reasoning mind.  However convinced the mind is that it reasons clearly, it will still be prone to making mistakes.  The mind would make fewer mistakes if it did not try so hard to get involved, and allow problems to revolve themselves.  If one lets go of the situation and relaxes one’s controlling grip, one allows the world more freedom, and the flow can take its own course.

It’s futile and even dangerous to try to pressure the world - this creates excess potential and obstacles.  Reducing the importance placed on an obstacle causes it to fade on its own accord.  If the obstacle doesn’t respond to efforts to overcome it, move around it, and guiding signs will appear to assist you.

The mind tends to interpret any event that fails to fit its script as an obstacle.  The mind likes to plan everything beforehand, make calculations, and when something unexpected happens, it fights against it, trying to make it fit the script.  This only makes the situation worse.  This mind is not capable of planning events ideally.  This is where more freedom should be given to the flow.

Lives can be ruined by ill designed actions.  The mind sees purposefulness when everything goes according to the script, and unwanted problems are what happen when something does not go along with the script.  Problems have to be solved, and the mind sets about doing so with great gusto, generating new problems and cluttering the path with endless obstacles.  People are usually only happy when things go according to plan.  Imagine how joyful life would be if the mind would forego some of its importance, and accept the fact that deviations from the script also have their place.

The mind’s compulsive desire to control everything turns life into an endless battle with the flow.  The mind’s greatest error is that it tries to control the flow itself, rather than its own movement within the flow.  This is one of the main causes of the majority of problems and disappointments that people face.  Release your grip, and let the flow take its course.

It’s not suggested to accept anything that happens, but one could consider making a tactical adjustment, moving the center of gravity away from control, and towards observation.  Do not be in a hurry to object, argue, prove yourself, get involved, manage, or criticize.  Give situations a chance to resolve themselves of their own accord without active involvement or resistance.  You will be surprised by the results when doing so.  By being willing to release control, ironically, more control of a situation is obtained than one previously had.

The objective observer always has the advantage over a direct participant.  This is why the words in this book are repeated:  Exercise detachment.

Exerting control goes against the flow.  Suggestions from others can in fact make sense, and its not worth arguing about.  There are many times when intervention is not actually necessary.  Often, what one thinks of as obstacles are nothing of the kind.  When you let go, problems solve themselves quite satisfactorily, without your having to know how.  The things that happen that do not fit your plan turn out not to be so bad after all.

Chance phrases can have powerful meanings.  Your gut feeling and instincts are there to warn you not to waste the same amount of energy you did before.

When you go with the flow, this upsets the pendulums, and so they try to provoke you to beat your hands wildly on the water.  Pendulums abhor streams in the flow for the simple reason that the stream moves in the direction of minimal energy expenditure.  When going with the flow of the stream, energy is not used to battle the current.

The only form of control worth your attention is control over the intensity of projected inner and outer importance.  Remember that projected importance prevents the mind from letting go.  In many cases, letting go of a situation is more effective and productive than insisting on getting one’s own way.

Even from childhood, our striving for self-assertion generates the habit of trying to prove one’s personal significance.  From this stems the tendency to want to prove that one is right, regardless of the costs.  This striving creates excess potential and a conflict of interest.  People will go to great lengths to prove that they are right, even when the verdict will not directly affect their interests either way.  Self importance can become a mania to control everything.

As long as you do not risk seriously compromising your interests, let go of the situation, and let others exercise their right to beat their hands on the water.  If you practice letting go consciously, the feeling of relief will be greater than when you succeed in proving your point.  You will experience a sense of fulfillment knowing that you moved on.  Instead of insisting on your own self importance, you manage to act like a wise parent dealing with difficult children.

Excessive commitment to work is just as detrimental as neglecting one’s responsibilities.  Example:  Imagine that you have just taken on a new prestigious position that you have been dreaming of getting for a long while.  You demand a lot of yourself because you want to prove your potential.  There’s nothing wrong with that in principle, but if you throw yourself into the job too zealously, you may find that you cannot take the pressure over time, particularly if the work tasks are very difficult.  Or, you could come up with innovations that go against the order of operations of the business, incurring the wrath of other employees and/or the employer.  You may have entered the environment with balance, but ended up wildly slapping the water with your hands, trying to swim faster.  This doesn’t mean to keep your mouth closed and your head down.  That would be a little extreme.  Only consider getting annoyed and telling someone off if they are bothering you directly, and then only if your criticism will change the situation for the better.  Never criticize anything that happened in the past that cannot be changed.  In everything else, go with the flow - not in a literal sense by agreeing with everyone all the time, but by moving the center of gravity from control to observation.  Observe more, and do not be in a hurry to control things.

There is no need to be concerned about getting the right balance.  A healthy sense of moderation will come with practice.

  1. Yeah! Being in more than one place makes it so one can't be 'pegged.' Definitely difficult to implement at times, but well worth it!
