Destroying Addictions
Substance addiction and porn addiction are obvious addictions, but there are also other addictions, such as addiction to destructive thinking, intel addiction, food addiction (binge eating/gorging), addiction to another person or persons, and addiction to power.
Core beliefs behind addictions:
"If I don't indulge in this, I won't be complete."
"If I don't indulge in this, I will miss out."
In reality, indulging in an addiction doesn't complete oneself, but makes oneself more empty. In reality, one misses out on life when indulging in addictions. Furthermore, it's really archons/parasitical entities that miss out when choosing to not indulge in an addiction. Just like loosh, the energy given off from the indulgence in addictions is an energetic currency for archons/parasitical entities. And, the loosh generated from guilt and shame after the indulgence is another feeding for them. Addictions are very nourishing to archons/parasitical entities.
Further observations:
– Stress amplifies addictions. The more effective strategies one employs to reduce the stress
of life, the better position one will be in to break free from addictions.
There can even be stress from entertainment. Various series, although interesting, can damage the subconscious. I've been binge watching Dexter lately (series/shows can be an addiction too), and this has been compromising me. I had to stop watching it.
– Addiction begets addiction. For example, gluttony can activate another addiction, such as porn addiction.
– One can get stupid when bored. Find ways to make life interesting. Going beyond mind constructs into the present moment can be infinitely interesting.
– Be careful not to justify an addictive behavior with the belief of, "Oh, I'm just coping with pre-Event life. The Event will fix all of this so it doesn't matter if I indulge." Stop such nonsense dead in its tracks. Life, and improving life, matters Here and Now. One only delays the Event when one sabotages their development through addictive behaviors.
The awakened people must find ways to turn their external locus of control to the internal locus of control.
ReplyDelete"Locus" is Latin and means "place".
Here are the traits:
ELOC
❌ Responsibility lies on the outside
“I was just unlucky.”
❌ Mistakes = fate, karma, etc.
“The universe is against me.”
❌ Victim of circumstances
“There's nothing I can do anyway.”
❌ Setbacks = confirmation of failure
“It was clear that this would happen.”
❌ Expectation of rescue
“Someone has to get me out of this.”
➡️ This attitude often generates powerlessness, passivity, self-pity or even cynicism. Typical of people who are waiting for “the big change” or “the hero out there”.
ILOC
✅ Responsibility lies with me
“If I make an effort, I can do it.”
✅ Mistakes = learning opportunities
“Okay, what can I do better next time?”
✅ Active life shaper
“I decide how my day goes.”
✅ Setbacks = challenges
“I may have fallen, but I'll get up again.”
✅ Belief in self-efficacy
“I can make a difference.”
➡️ These people are often more resilient, have higher self-esteem, are healthier, more successful and take control of their own destiny.
At some point the clearing of subquantum/lurker should start to cause people to have more of an internal locus of control with the second list. Until then, one can try to work with the really nasty ones, but in many cases they are going to have to 'sink or swim.' At this point, they are mostly on their own because they lash out at or ghost those who try to help them.
Delete(I have my moments. It happens less often lately, but occasionally I find myself being on the external locus of control.)
