I Just Want to Know the Real Deal

It was adepts in the late 1800's and early to mid 1900's who were the most awakened for the 'modern era.'

William Walker Atkinson (aka Swami Panchadasi) is a prime example of an adept who had revolutionary information:

To a considerable extent, the hippie movement of the 70's and subsequent newager movements watered down, distorted, and misused their information.

Yet, it's also true that some of these historical adepts had disempowering programming that leaked into their material.  So of course, discernment is needed.  But definitely, the level of information they accessed far surpasses material from most current esoteric and intel circles.

On my part, there's not much else to say.  I just want to know the real deal.

    1. Yeah, terms like "astral plane," "mental plane," and so forth get tossed around quite a bit in various circles, but what are the actual mechanics? What's the map of these planes with their different subplanes? How do we activate more abilities with our astral senses and astral bodies? Where do our thoughts come from, and how do we increase access to ideas and methods that allow for greater knowledge and control over the physical? The list of questions goes on and on, and surprisingly, there were many excellent answers 'way back in the day.'

    2. Although not free of distortion, Blavatsky's original writings and some of those of early Victorian era theosophists had a lot to say about this type of stuff. A huge focus on adepts and the path of esoteric discipleship too:

    4. Yep, the hippie movement failed. Those baby boomers had the right idea...but....look what happened:

1: Some of them died when drafted to 'nam.
2: Many would be jailed or killed in protests.
3: By the 1980's, those hippies became hypocritical, materialistic yuppies. And all they did was just make sure life for younger people became as hard as possible. They were the one generation who did NOT want things to become better and easier for the later generations. And many famous boomers are the Clintons, Pelosi, etc.
4: The real hippies who did not get killed, jailed, or sold out are now just elderly stoners smoking weed on their front porch. *slow golf clapping*

Baby Boomers today: "Kids these days have NO Respect for Traditional Values!"

Anyhow, I too want the 'real deal'. Not gonna get it from meditating.
