How Attention Works
The nature of a 'black hole' is thus:
Both positive attention and negative attention upon it only gives it more energy. Is 2012 Portal a black hole? Others may make their own conclusions. I for one do much better when I simply don't focus on it and instead pursue other ventures.
I've called matters out so many times with Et intel. I've 'been there done that' extensively, but even this ended up becoming an ensnarement.
Continuing Learning
Although Charles Webster Leadbeater may have had 'issues,' his material is extremely useful for learning about the astral and higher planes. This would be the next audiobook to carefully listen to after listening to "The Astral World" from Atkinson (aka Swami Panchadasi):
I'm also learning from Helena Blavatsky's material.
There's so much to all of this. I'm truly blown away by the depth of information. And, I don't care who it's from anymore. If Crowley himself had useful information, I would learn from his material, and I may in the future. (Discernment of course being used, keeping what is useful and discarding what is not.)
Here's a small sample of what I've learned:
– The top three subplanes of the astral are what many call "Summerland." More on this here:

– The astral is refined physical matter beyond the gaseous and plasma states. It is the realm upon which desires (pleasure/pain duality) are burned out, especially in the lower subplanes, before going up in frequency to the mental plane.
– When someone who had strong desires in physical life dies, they have a longer duration in the astral.
– Once finished in the astral, the core of who the person really is goes up to the mental plane. Their astral body is shedded and becomes an astral shell or corpse as it decomposes in the lowest subplane of the astral. So, just as someone sheds their physical body in the physical plane, there is also the shedding of the astral body in the astral plane.
– Those who lived a life with a sufficient degree of intentionally 'balanced duality' are either very briefly in the astral after dying, or they go straight to the mental plane, bypassing the astral entirely. (The astral body is instantly shedded). It's possible to instantly go higher than the mental plane upon death, but this is extremely rare.
– The mental plane has reduced duality and less conflict-driven polarity compared with the astral and physical.
– The vast majority of seances actually only channel other entities or the astral shell of someone that runs on autopilot, or the "shade," which was all the lower aspects of the deceased that temporarily has intelligence before decomposing as an astral shell. Channelers become very corrupted from this.
– The more someone was ensnared within 'base personality traits' in physical life, the less of their personality they can take up with them to the mental plane. Those ensnared parts are encased within the astral shell, decomposing with it upon being shedded.
This is really amazing material, and I'm really inspired to keep learning. Maybe some others will be as well.
There are also concentration exercises, such as focusing on an object for a time and tuning everything else out. Cultivating the ability to concentrate is massively needed on 'planet ADHD.'
Regarding Singing
I've found that when I sing/chant to A432 and/or Solfeggio frequencies, this backfires. It's much better to just be in silence if listening to these frequencies. Somehow it's too much of a good thing; it becomes a corrupting force. Others may or may not have the same finding.
Anyway, I could go on and on, but I'll end this here. Others can figure out what to do and what not to do.
So. May 25th. Here we are. Anyone seen, felt, thought of anything yet? Maybe it's too early to tell? Maybe someone had a weird day today? I certainly did. Let me humor that for a little bit.
ReplyDeleteSomehow our electricity bill this month has literally been cut in half. Yet there were no major changes to behaviour regarding general consumption, nor any specific conditions (be it nature or man-made) which could actually explain that. In our context you would expect a *slight and gradual* reduction, like 10-15% through the course of the past few months, but no. Literally 50% just slashed itself out of the bill. The only thing that really changed is that this month, my dad started noting down the kilowatt counter thingy every day for the past three or so weeks.
We went through all possibilities in our minds and we couldn't find any reasonable explanation for that, except for one of the basis of quantum physics: the Observer effect ("the observer alters the experiment"). We have noted this before in our lives, but not in such a strong manner like today.

So the level of awakening hits hardly, it is like a huge pressure existing here. And it's very interesting whether I will go through physical death or something happens. Because I do not believe that something can happen anymore. It is like I forgot it completely. I do not follow anything at all, everything is crap, this is only one place I visit somehow. But that is a very strange story, I came here, I got a lot if info and experiences here about planet prison, was tortured and then most likely dead. Pretty funny.

It is asymmetrical in application so without action soon it is devoid of mercy and thus became a type of imposed evil. The situation with Disclosure is interesting so far but it must escalate immensely and then be followed by something very decisive or it’s only more disappointment for the lightworkers/warriors and any activated soul. 🙏
DeleteSo it’s very serious and if there is no trigger soon, then we must all prepare that there was in fact a type of treason/betrayal and be ready to preserve our energy (using techniques and strategies that will probably have to be quite personal). Starlight has shared many great strategies. I do think Justice will be rendered and it impacts all densities/dimensions as it should. For now we observe and I must say to be awake and so competent in the area of truth about the layers of this reality and the Earth situation is very rare. That is consequential and will be carried. 🪽
I participated in the 525 meditation. Afterwards, I was filled with frustration and impatience. The galaxy still hasn't taken any crucial action. It hasn't offered us any help. It feels like a deep betrayal. I tried to think positively, but that's quite difficult.

There is far too much focus on excuses and often references to “behind the scenes” progress. When such a nonchalant attitude on timing by the galactics becomes a part of their plan, it is very consequential to those who are suffering. 💜

Many lightworkers/warriors are increasingly skeptical, frustrated, and some becoming openly hostile to them when it begins to feel as though the Galactics are not able to conceptualize the consequences of so much protraction or possibly through some type of incompetence, can not trigger the culmination. Also highly recommend "The Voice of Silence" by Blavatsky. It's a "devotional" or mystical, contemplative spiritual text considered an authentic excerpt from a very ancient, esoteric school of pure Mahayana Buddhism.

Excellent material. It’s clear that all matter is an illusory reflection of the etheric and for the galactics and technically the higher aspects of the starseeds, their true essence is not nested on the 4th plane’s higher dimensions. In fact, they have some type of higher density equivalent/version of the causal/mental where it would dwell on the plane associated with their monadic origins/collective consciousness. (Some of the Galactics/higher plane entities are nesting their soul/higher self/ and even spirit essence 5th, 6th, 7th and beyond). ✨

Humanity itself is an intergalactic peace treaty in a way. It’s clear we have this custody/hostage situation but the Human Angel combined DNA/genes of the brightest and darkest races in this reality and thus they have the capacity to feel a large variety of strong emotions. Within the Earth humanity is the power of all these entities combined. Earth humanity having ascended into this level of consciousness from the 3rd plane (from the perspective of linear time) instead of descending into matter from much higher realms like other human type angelics or the exploration of the physical by angels among the galactics has likely been one of the most powerful ways to exhaust duality. The shedding of base personality traits would be a powerful exhaustion of all the negative aspects that don’t lead to fulfillment and joy. 🙏
The present time is a superposition (overlapping) of infinite pasts and infinite futures. Your life and the plan you made for it before you incarnated are all superpositions as well.
By the end of your life, all versions of you who want to move on to different things split off into different timelines and do so. Each version of you can look back on the life just lived and interpret it their own way. The reason why A, B & C happened in your life will have one explanation for one version of you, but a different explanation for another version. Each version had the same experiences because they share the same past, but each one has their own reasons, their own interpretation for A, B & C that fit who they have become. I’d imagine existence is far more non-linear than we think. If this golden timeline concept is truly an accessible path for us on the surface, our intent should be yielding manifestation very quickly soon given the level of activation to be aware of it as a concept at all coupled with the more recent clearances on Earth (energetically thus far).🪽
Earth Humanity is the most pummeled race in this reality, a slave race from the beginning, exploited, brainwashed, and tied. But humanity is also meant to become the most powerful in this reality. 💎
All the different types of souls across creation (with their unique origins) are on a journey. The Sunmerland concept is exactly what I’ve seen of Earth humanity’s situation (although they will occupy higher versions of this heaven template in the future with their eventual ascension as a collective being); it was terribly manipulated even there by the archons and reincarnation wheel for too long.
Our Source contains everything in our multiverse while you, as a Source, contain only what you chose for yourself. You are thus a filtered version of the complete thing. I usually call this your "Totality Filtering", the part of the Totality that you have picked for the rest of your eternal existence.
So you end up being a filtered Source that plays out everything you love in infinite variety (only the variety you like). This filtered version of it all, your personal paradise, is also known as Heaven.

I was laughing at the term "planet ADHD" (I was diagnosed in childhood). But seriously, how our fragmented attention drains our energy, and exactly as you're emphasizing, how important it is to strengthen our ability to concentrate. Because black holes, as you said, whether it's the portal website, the aliens, the event, the negative news that constantly permeates the media, when we are constantly bombarded, and even deal with these issues, but our ability to concentrate is strong enough to remain on what really matters (our internal point of balance in silence), they lose the ability to suck us in and steal our energy.
Not that adversities will stop, but that they don't control us and steal our balance and mental health. Therefore, it's always important to understand the impermanence of things, and that we have no control over a large part of reality, seeking to let go and accept what is (at least on a meditative level).
In addition to focusing on the sensation of air entering and leaving during breathing as a way to strengthen concentration, I use chanting as an alchemical process (it works well for me, but I have at least 10 years of practice) and I feel the spiritual prana and a slight beatitude.
I have also been doing physical activity (cardio) while meditating, consciously focusing on my breath along with counting (example: I count 1, inhale, count 2, exhale, doing jumping jacks).
As well as walking while breathing consciously, feeling the wind.
There are several ways to strengthen concentrated awareness.
I've been trying to meditate well, even to deal with a slight frustration over the slowness of things, both on a personal level and in terms of the event itself, but as I said, I have no control over anything except my focus and behaviors. Despite the difficulties, I've been trying to be more assertive in the face of the circumstances that arise, even if it's not my true desire, accepting reality as it is, not as I would like or should like it to be.

From the perspective of some Theosophical teachings, a lot, if not the majority, of the entity-based psychic attacks, entity attachments and paranormal phenomena often attributed to "demons" are actually ghosts/remnants of the dead, of varying degrees of sentience/awareness/soul and personality connection (or lack thereof).
People may interpret/feel such entities as being "nonhuman" because although technically human originated, their true selves/humanity is basically gone.
Elementaries are said to be fully conscious and totally malevolent, along with parasitism that results from disconnecting from their souls/higher-triads. These might be the common "low borne demons" that can sometimes be rather dangerous and persistent.

But when I checked his blog, I found that statement was no longer there. I remember it very clearly—it was definitely there—because he described the opening of the 25th-dimensional portal in his June 2025 update in exactly the same way. So when I saw that phrase again, it felt familiar.

The Disclosure process under some type of acceleration thus far can be a type of energetic chord but we need decisive actions to bring culmination. Knowing this can begin at any time also stretches the starseeds further to infinity which is not very sustainable for those activated lightworkers/warriors.
@Azara The question isn't much the mention itself but (allegedly) why was it edited out later. Why would Cobra go under the effort to edit an old post, and specifically *now* of all moments (assuming he didn't already do that several times in the past, I mean, there is a chance)? I can't fathom "it's to protect this stabilized timeline from the darks" as a plausible excuse either, simply because it's all archived in Wayback. Words in cyberspace are like genies in a bottle, once they're out you can't put them back in.

@Rollcager also to contradict some of what the portal has conveyed (at least based upon my own experience), soul family contact has been extremely positive, powerful, and helpful when I’ve experienced it. It didn’t require waiting until the portal opened or special protocols. Likely because it was encoded to occur in a format aligned with what we agreed to before incarnation.🙏

There are incredibly powerful starseeds who agreed to assist on this side of the mission with certain assurances about how their activation would occur in proximity to final breakthroughs. The event needs to be triggered. If starseeds are suffering here, it is felt by their soul families too and it’s not only a humiliation to continue such purposeless suffering but also a dereliction of duty by those who should be enacting powerful interventions at such a late stage. 🛸
I actually believe the culmination will be quite messy because they waited too long. The longer this protracts, the more circus like timeline progression on Disclosure, and continued denial of mercy, the less mature the Galactics seem and certainly deficient in the area of wisdom on matters pertaining to love. 💜
@Azara I'm happy for you, you can be sure of that. I've yet to experience something like that I think, or at least in some form outside of dream state I can actually remember. If I know myself, it's probably gonna be post-Event anyway, if it happens.

(Very few could escape the nightmare loop of the “school” universe interpretation this reality and became food for lower 4th plane negative astral entities, lower etheric plane negative entities, and of course the archons and chimera in their accretion vortex of darkness). 🙏

And yes I don’t think they learned anything substantial. They weren’t here directly incarnated and seem to be min maxing just as you described. This is something you would expect someone with great intellect but no wisdom to do. It’s analogous to having read every book or studied all technical angles. Yet the missing ingredient was true wisdom and experience. Intellect is knowledge but wisdom is experience. The real masters were sent to the surface. And actually that’s the only strategy that would make sense. Even the whole ascension part is a little silly for some of the beings who incarnated here on such a perilous mission. But to each their own (the beauty of free will vectors). ✨
I think the Galactics will find a majority of the activated starseeds want out. Their exhaustion is real and they made the ultimate sacrifice (an act of unconditional love) incarnating here to begin with.
It was interesting that Cobra indicated transportation would be provided immediately after the event (before Ascensions, or even first contact; since first contact might occur weeks or months after the event based upon the timeline).
This was something I already knew from how this reached me in the past but my information included the phrase energetic moment to return home. 🛸

And really, the astral itself does not operate as instant manifestation to any and every thought. Even in the astral there needs to be a coherent pattern of thought combined with will in order to manifest something there. It's of course much easier to manifest in the astral compared with 3D, but the astral also has its own laws of physics.

Well, with all due respect and sincerity, I genuinely wish I could step into your shoes or perhaps into yours and others’ alike to understand how and why you perceive the situation in this way, and what continues to give you confidence that something truly significant is destined to happen, whether in a year or in a decade. I, too, have undergone profoundly intense and far-from-ordinary experiences in this incarnation, yet I still do not possess a sufficiently solid foundation to claim with certainty that some monumental transformation is inevitably approaching. I can speculate, certainly — but nothing beyond that.
ReplyDeleteAs for the liberation movement, and specifically Portal2012, it is probably the single thing that has drained the greatest amount of energy from me over the years. And now I see people saying if I understood correctly that certain information has been deleted or edited. At that point, I find it genuinely difficult to comprehend how anyone can continue placing trust in that channel. Personally, merely thinking about it evokes almost exclusively negative emotions and energies within me. I honestly cannot think of a single genuinely positive thing I could say about it.
So I ask you sincerely: what tangible and objectively positive things can you point to yourselves? And when making positive claims, please provide real, verifiable evidence — not statements about protective spheres allegedly placed around the Sun that nobody has ever observed, nor unverifiable stories about the liberation of distant planets. Those kinds of assertions cannot meaningfully serve as proof.
At times, I even begin to wonder whether some of the supposedly neutral participants on this forum might in fact be bots or coordinated accounts subtly promoting the Portal2012 narrative, because I truly struggle to understand how one could objectively derive anything positive from that source anymore.
More than anything, I wish I could understand what it is that compels people to continue believing that some genuinely positive shift is still coming. You may say that your conviction is rooted in personal experiences — but I have those as well, and not insignificant ones either. Deep, powerful, life-altering experiences. And yet… here I am, still unable to conclude anything definitive from them.

@anon I often wonder this too and it’s probably just direct experiences in the physical that would be strong enough at this point. Most can choose to believe it or not. But I think only very significant experiences would stop most from leaving it all behind after so much time. Some just want answers too. Without the experiences I and many others have had we would just abandon it all and never look back. Maybe we’ll never have all the answers but it’s worth a try. I find portal intriguing only because it matched experiences and information received in impossible ways. But I agree that with the passage of time it’s narrative is becoming increasingly alarming. And endless bag of new obstacles and excuses is concerning to so many that followed. In fact, the idea of constantly shifting new hopes is often a technique to keep some willing to suffer, a totally unacceptable pattern. 🙏

And you did describe it perfectly, we are holding pieces but concluding definitively remains elusive. I think the delays make no sense and it’s a massive red flag. Also, we’re speaking of beings that should fully align with mercy yet they do not act when prerequisites to deliver mercy are apparently met. Also, I agree that new meditations, projects etc after the prerequisites were met, portal open, lurker cleared to some fraction of a fraction of a percent does not look good the longer it continues. It reminds me of what someone in control would do to keep others quiet or busy or to make them feel like they’re doing something constructive (a distraction).
As for me the physical aspects also reached those who have nothing to do with portal nor understand anything about it. We’re in a very serious situation here on the surface. Maybe we’re all in Hell? Who knows. But I will certainly never let this go after all that occurred. Portal’s intel is nearing a terminal status (as starlight described) it’s terminal and resuscitating it will be impossible if nothing changes on the surface soon.
Also the information Sebastian wa sharing was entirely real. I think that’s most concerning of all. I do think aspects have improved in some areas. This all falls way short of what was promised and at this point we have to continue to put pieces together the best we can. 🌅
Starlight has done a tremendous job providing so much valuable information. We need to be prepared for any outcome here soon. And yes soon none of us will be objectively deriving anything positive from portal anymore if nothing happens soon even if it shared some truths and resonant information at one time.

It is a possible catalyst for some type of development in the surface society’s awareness level. If we don’t see final breakthroughs soon, many lightworkers/warriors have stated they might view the portal as having been a mix of truths and deception again (maybe it was compromised at some point). There were some incredible truths shared there (many starseeds arriving at them independently or before the portal website even existed) but it’s also no different than how most religions have mixed truth and lies in varying proportions to ensnare souls.
Results are all that matters now. If any type of intervention is possible or planned it must begin. It’s really absurd a date of May 25th was even given as “any moment” the final breakthroughs, event, collapse, reunions etc could begin. The fact this was stated and the prerequisites were met but mercy simply can’t come yet is very cruel to those where minutes, days, weeks etc are very difficult due to the suffering they experience. As time passes, all our questions can easily be answered if there is inaction or silence. The road simply ended in that case and the idea such beings who might not understand mercy were event set such a task is even more concerning. 💜
We all would certainly love to see the event triggered (so long overdue) but we must prepare for anything and it’s up to any purported forces of light to be decisive and show us at such a juncture. 🌅
I, for one, refuse to believe that the only future left for us is the one from the so-called Machine Kingdom. Most could care less about this whole financial aspect next which is really just being done to help humanity transition in a psychological way. Even according to the portals description of it in the past it will be very short lived.

To compensate, I tried to make myself feel special and that I was worth it. And you can be sure that some people twisted that and turned it against my integrity and sanity.
I have been subjected to medical, social and educational trauma for many years. Being dragged into special education for 7 years with barely any possibility of reintegration. Caseworkers deciding for me. Being sent to foster care and residential facilities multiple times. Stripped of autonomy, agency and dignity. A prisoner. And lately, me and my birthgiver disowned each other.
I want to give back what was taken away from me. This is my core mission in this life.
I want to create disability and neurodiversity multiservices centers, and residences where they do not have to fear their rightful autonomy being degraded or stolen aimlessly. A safe haven where we are going to get our folks the right care they need and give them a fresh start to a new life if need be. Where families know that they can send their kids who are disabled that have become too extreme needs to handle by themselves and need respite.
Where we won't have to fear being illegally hospital dumped, gaslit by doctors and professionals who are only here for a paycheck, pay an arm out of pocket for treatment, deal with insurance requirements, fear stigma and forced institutionalized and drugging for spiritual beliefs, and overall mistreated and dismissed on all levels, even the simple fact we can't lie down in the ER. This is the pillar of Groves Multiservices Project"

DeleteCarol, sim, às vezes a solução não é a que desejamos, mas é o melhor a fazer. Aprendi isso com a morte daquele familiar. Se ele não tivesse morrido, provavelmente teria sofrido terrivelmente nos anos que se seguiram. Estou muito triste por ele ter morrido, mas também fico contente por ele já não sofrer mais com aquela dor crónica extrema e inexplicável.

@Medbedanon I totally agree, and it’s clear significant manipulation occurred to have us participate in this mission/process/whatever it is at this stage. The experiences and activations we had are not revocable and the apparent lack of mercy seals the deal on our perception of any “light forces.” They need to do their job and any dereliction of duty is full betrayal. Soul family reunions in the physical and beyond are long overdue. 🌅
I sincerely hope something will change imminently for all the souls who continue to have evil imposed upon them in this matrix system. We also must be capable of redirecting our energies and wherever this leads at minimum all truths must eventually surface. Even if we get all these triggers, I think the level of activation some starseeds endured while mercy was denied will cause many to have had enough of this entire experience. The whole ascension aspect (mystery school, Islands of Light) may only attract those who really feel drawn to such a process. Maybe at an innate/soul level something new they just want to experience in an Earth format. Luckily all free will vectors open at that point in totality.
Most of the starseeds (certainly all the activated ones) are absolutely massive souls with vast experience in this reality and many others. I will say the fact the portal stated transportation is provided after the event and you can depart immediately was strongly resonate with information I received. If portal had stated otherwise I would have probably been very skeptical of any details they have conveyed about such a process. 🪽
I think many have no interest in some type of physical "ascending". It’s also possible to choose not to participate further in this source entity's matrix. Some may be simply graduating out of the matrix construct altogether (which actually extends to higher dimensions than most realize) as a Universal Being of Light exploring the true multiverse. ✨

Too tricky. I just stay in my experience since we can live only our experience, but no one else's, so I just come to read the opinions to this blogspot, and I am very happy for some of you that you KNOW the things in your experience, you are blessed. In my experience it seemed that I KNEW the things clearly for 15 years, like VOTL628 KNEW the Event was coming in 2025 and others KNEW many things. So if something positive happened, wow, that would be a real liberation, but I do not expect anything, maybe that is some sort of psychological defensive reaction, but really I am not sure at all and very doubtful if something positive is gonna happen during this lifetime. Yes, when I think of that, it seems like a miracle, too good to be truth. :)
But it remains fascinating how my story will end, since what kind of a shit that was, many of us were living simple lives then some kind of strange people, experiences, knowledge started happening and as I say while my friends were making carriers and building homes, I was 'waking up from the matrix'. We could assume, that we need this experiences for our alleged afterlife, for what we gonna do next, but who or what is that stupid to think that after such torture I will be going to do some kind of a work after my death in this shitty reality. I also resonated, believed that channel for almost 10 years and then for me it started to seem as dark lying cult because of zero correct guesses, inconsistencies and losing all the energy by visiting that channel.
So who knows what a heck is going on right here, I do not believe anymore with a positive change at all, but it caresses the heart a little when I read positive thoughts that Azara shares, then I think to myself: this is a very bright being who also has great knowledge and experience about these cosmic things, maybe she/he can feel what is happening better than my formed negative experience and attitude. So that brings that small hope.
My experience is one hundred percent exactly this:
I am awake and also completely doubtful simultaneously. Both happening at the same time. So the ones who strongly believe/know that big change is gonna happen even in ten years, you are very lucky, because I do not feel that at all anymore.

DeleteComplementando o que todos disseram, uma higiene espiritual é muito importante, sendo o ideal na hora que acorda e quando vai dormir de 5 a 10 minutos. Pode ser meditação, oração, hoponopono, pois assim como o Starlight disse nessa postagem, o fortalecimento da concentração também é importante para conseguirmos lidar melhor com as adversidades.
DeleteSei que não é fácil, mas é importante perceber como nossas emoções e sentimentos impactam em nossa saúde mental, e a partir do fortalecimento da concentração, aos poucos, conseguimos observar as emoções e sentimentos sem reagir a elas, de forma equânime.
Eu, por exemplo, estou com minha vida financeira extremamente crítica, e não é por falta de ação, mas por complicações e situações que não deram certo (muitos ataques). Com certeza estou insatisfeito e frustrado, além de me sentir injustiçado por conta de vários trabalhos espirituais faço e fiz ao longo de 10 anos, mas minha reação emocional ou sentimental de nada irá mudar a situação, e muitas vezes irá piorar pois vou ter menos ânimo para lidar e buscar soluções realistas além de impactar minha saúde mental (eu também gosto de me sentir bem). Então buscar aceitar as coisas como são, pode auxiliar a dar vazão e soltar amarras do que não temos controle.
E sinceramente, é isso que a matrix quer, que percebemos como tudo está ruim, e entregarmos nossa energia através do sofrimento.
Trabalhar alguns conceitos podem ajudar também, como perceber a impermanência das coisas, que essa situação atual irá mudar, e que mesmo que o evento não ocorra, algum momento iremos partir, então, a partir disso, como gostaria de sentir com base que a vida é uma experiencia.
Também é muito importante entender que NADA externo vai nos oferecer uma felicidade plena, e sim somente momentânea, então, aos poucos, perceber que você não precisa de nada externo para se sentir bem, faz que nos desprendemos o nosso emocional da realidade externa.
Entender isso no nível do intelecto pode até fazer sentido, mas para ir reprogramando é necessário meditação, e é um trabalho de formiguinha, todo dia um pouco.

DeleteYou've already said that you need to get what you want to be happy, but unfortunately, if you base yourself solely on that, you will never be truly happy. You are outsourcing your happiness when you depend on some extraterrestrial to come and deliver what you desire, or that you will only be happy when you obtain something.
Let's think about it from another perspective. Have you ever wanted something very much at some point, and you got it? For example, a game, a movie, a meal, and you were happy when you got it, and then the happiness passed? It will be like that when you get what you want. True happiness doesn't come from obtaining things. Accepting yourself as you are, even if there are disappointments, is the first step to truly feeling good.
And even though I'm now contradicting what I said before, at least try to imagine how you will feel when you get what you want, and try to start cultivating good feelings.

In my opinion, that's what's happening in Sherman's case.
DeleteProviding certain external things isn't necessarily creating dependency — sometimes those things act as keys. They can help people unlock and connect with their inner world.
If you've studied psychology, you'll know that there needs to be a balance between external and internal factors. Take Maslow's hierarchy of needs as an example. When a person's basic needs haven't been met, you often need to address those external needs first before meaningful changes can happen internally.
Only when those needs are sufficiently fulfilled can a person begin moving toward self-transcendence — things like altruism, spirituality, religious devotion, or a sense of unity with nature and life.
Unless someone is a truly enlightened master who is genuinely willing to let go — and I mean genuinely, not just in theory — most of what is called "letting go" in New Age circles is actually self-deception.
So I think your approach can work, but it only applies to a very small minority of people.

It's like telling a homeless person or someone dying of a disease to BE HAPPY....be balanced....yea...good luck tell them that when they are fighting to just SURVIVE. I highly doubt hunted animals are happy when they are chased by predators and humans.
I said it before....I get what I need, which I can only get from OUTSIDE....not 'within', and I KNOW a LARGE chuck of my trauma, anger and frustration WILL go away, Pillar.
